Job summary
We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join the Devon Adult Autism and ADHD service (DAANA), to work in the Autism Pathway.
This is an innovative area of practice and the work is rewarding and interesting. You do not need to be an autism specialist. We are looking for someone with experience of working with clients with a range of mental health difficulties and autistic people. If you bring passion and commitment, we will train and support you to gain the specialist skills and experience you need, making this an exciting professional development opportunity.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the various different aspects of clinical work carried out by the DAANA service, drawing upon the particular skills that they have developed from their professional training and clinical experience.
Assessment is a core part of the teams work and therefore this role, so the post-holder should have experience carrying out assessments with people who have significant communication needs and a range of different mental health difficulties. The service also carries out group-based work, consultation and training to other professionals.
