We are excited to be advertising for aBand 6 Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor
The successful post holder will be joining a growing early intervention pathway within CAMHS working with mild to moderate presentations of anxiety and low mood as well as offering whole school approach support. The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) pathway currently consists of EMHPs and Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) and is a growing service covering Devon and Torbay. Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor to join the CFHD MHST and CWP team. As the Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical supervision and guidance to our team members, ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients. You will conduct regular supervision sessions, offering support, advice, and feedback to enhance professional development and maintain clinical excellence. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research and interventions in mental health and child wellbeing. In this role, you will also collaborate with other stakeholders, participating in case consultations, multidisciplinary meetings, and fostering effective communication within the teams. If you possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of mental health and child development, and have a passion for supporting and supervising others in their professional growth, we invite you to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in need.
