Job summary
We are looking to recruit a part-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (approximately 25.5 hours or 3 days a week) into the Exeter City TALKWORKS team. We are a large and high performing NHS Talking Therapies Service, with strong fidelity to the treatment and service model.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who has commitment to our local services here in Devon. The team covers the Exeter City and West PCN geographical area and we strive to maintain a strong and healthy team culture.
We welcome applications from positive and motivated individuals who are able to contribute to this and have a keen interest in developing their existing CBT skills with anxiety and depression.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in leadership skills and work within a service delivering evidences based, low intensity treatment for people with common mental health difficulties.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
Interviews will likely take place on the week commencing 16th October.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside the leadership team within Exeter City TALKWORKS to support the PWP workforce, including Trainee PWPs, to carry out their job role and responsibilities. This will include line managerial and supervisory responsibilities and ensuring fidelity to the IAPT manual and adherence to NHS Talking therapies' Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The post holder will be required to hold a small caseload of step 2 appropriate patients in order to maintain PWP registration and continuing professional development.
