Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will:o be a key member of the Inpatient Teamo be responsible / primary nurse for a designated group of patientso be responsible for the assessment of their needs and for the planningo implement and evaluate the care provided to meet service user needso provide clinical supervision to junior staff memberso have excellent communication and relationship management skillso treat patients with fairness and respect, maintaining confidentiality appropriatelyo assist the inpatients manager, the team and charge nurses in maintaining standards of careo be fully involved in ward rounds, handovers and other meetings where patient care is discussed and reviewed as requiredo participate in the assessment, admission, transfer and discharge of patients according to local guidelines and standards.
