Band 4 Carer Support & Wellbeing Worker - North West Hertfordshire

We have a new opportunity for a Carer Support & Wellbeing Worker to join us in delivering high quality community mental health care within the North West of Hertfordshire.

We have a vacancy in our multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team based in St Albans serving the needs of people within this diverse locality. This role is to support carers who provide care and support to their loved one.

We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate people who hold a strong belief in recovery for people with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for coordinating work relating to the Carers Agenda andcarry out Carers Assessments
  • be able to use their initiative when dealing with carers
  • maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with carers, service users, colleagues and other professionals
  • be able to develop in order to meet the ever changing demands and needs of the service.
