Job summary
The post holder, in conjunction with the senior nursing team will be responsible for facilitating nursing education and practice development within the Norfolk inpatient and community setting. They will collaborate with key individuals, including the Deputy Head of Nursing, Matron, Service Line Lead, Charge Nurses and Team leaders to ensure that sufficient expertise exists within Learning Disabilities services provided in Norfolk.
The post holder will play a key role in facilitating work-based learning focused on enabling staff to work in a person-centred approach. They will also play a key role in identifying education and development needs and meeting these in innovative ways.
Main duties of the job
- Support Student nurses during their training.
- Liaise with Placement teams and universities.
- Support Preceptorship nurses and newly registered staff.
- Support all registered nurses with their wellbeing and professional growth.
- Support the Team Leaders with all of the above.
- Be autonomous.
- Cover the counties LD services and Nurses.
