The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to train for the PWP role without requiring an undergraduate degree.
NHS Talking Therapies - Mid Essex, have a vacancy for this exciting opportunity to join our established team.
Main duties of the job
This is a developmental post and suitable candidates are provided with intensive training and supervision to work as an Apprentice PWP whilst studying for the Graduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice with the University of Essex (expected start date of September 2024). The course is approx. 12 months and will require successful completion of an End Point Assessment.
Following the completion of the training course you will be required to obtain professional registration as a qualified PWP through either the BABCP or BPS.
About us
As a trainee you will be part of an experienced team who will provide support including supervision and line management. You will be based at Tekhnicon House, Braintree in Essex
Three days per week will be spent in service gaining invaluable experience assessing and working with people from local communities, one day per week studying with the university and one day per week scheduled study. This may be a combination of in person and remote learning.
