We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader to join theAdult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) in South West Hertfordshire.

Our team is based in Borehamwood and provides services to the locality of Hertsmere.

We are currently offering successful candidates a recruitment and retention bonus of £6,000 pro rata per annum (£1,500 paid on commencement, £1,500 paid in arrears after six months, and £3,000 paid in arrears at the end of 12 months, and £3,000 paid 6 monthly intervals thereafter).

Main duties of the job

Our successful candidate will:

  • hold a strong belief in recovery for people with severe and enduring mental health problems
  • hold a caseload and undertake the role of care coordinator for those with varied complex mental health and social care needs
  • provide assessment and specific interventions to meet the needs of service users, their carers and families
  • be expected that you will be a flexible practitioner who enjoys new challenges in meeting the developing needs of the service and our service users
  • have an excellent understanding of the issues people with mental health needs carry out interventions to a standard that ensures safe and effective care and complies with the NMC Code
  • hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car to use regularly for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
