Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Enhanced Primary Care Mental Health Service to implement our intent to offer recovery coaching (use a Life Coaching) model to those recovering from serious mental illness.

This role is open to those with a Life Coaching qualification (Level 5 minimum) or could be an apprenticeship and we will support your training through an established Life Coaching Apprenticeship provider Ixion https://www.ixionholdings.com/qualifications/coaching-professional-level-5-apprenticeship/ for further details.

This post will provide a coaching intervention to people receiving services and their carers supporting recovery, wellbeing and links to universal resources in local communities.

Main duties of the job

You will be working with our existing therapies services to develop a recovery coaching model supporting service user confidence in accessing self-help resources in their local community.

You will have a Coaching qualification to at least at Diploma Level (or equivalent) or you may be eligible to apply with us for an Apprenticeship in Recovery Coaching.

You will already have some experience of working with people with care and support needs, and be able to demonstrate how you can work in partnership with service users with severe mental health needs to support their recovery and discovery journeys in their local community.
