Following the successful approval of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) funding, Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services and Hertfordshire Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are pleased to announce this unique and exciting opportunity.
Working in collaboration with GP practices, our CYPMH Primary Care Services model is at the forefront of innovation to offer a real chance to make a difference to our children and young people and their families, making support available where and when it is most needed.
We are now looking for a competent administrator (Band 4) to join our friendly, growing team. This is a key administrative role within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), providing administrative and clerical support to facilitate the effective running of REACH (CYPMH Primary Care Services). This is a full-time, permanent position and will be based in either East & North (Rosanne House/Saffron Ground) or South & West (Waverley Road/Forest Lane). Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive and professional administrative support to our REACH Mental Health Practitioners based across the county in Primary Care Networks. The post holder will work aspart of a growing and developing team and must display a considerable degree of initiative, possess mature judgement and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with staff, service users, colleagues and visitors. The post holder will be highly proficient in using information and communication systems and technology, with a willingness and aptitude to develop their expertise.
The post holder must apply a high degree of confidentiality to all of their work and ensure clear communication with all clinicians within the team, colleagues and other services and teams (internal and external from CAMHS) including our stakeholder PCNs. You may be expected to undertake non-routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.

- Educated to Secondary Level with GCSE C equivalent grades in English Language and Mathematics
- Extensive experience of working in an office environment
- Good knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and The Data Protection Act 2018
- Experience working in an NHS team or mental health setting
- Knowledge of healthcare terms
- Trained and experienced at intermediate level in a range of software packages, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
