Job summary
Due to maternity leave of the current post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join HPFT's Hertfordshire In-patient Learning Disability Services for the next 12 months.
The Operational Manager will manage the day to day running of two learning disability in-patient services; Dove Ward and Specialist Residential Services (SRS), working closely with the clinical matron and the service line lead.

Main duties of the job
The post sits within the operational management structure of the LearningDisability and Forensic SBU and offers operational leadership to staff across our inpatient services in order to create an effective system that supports the delivery of the best possible outcomes for all service users, staff and the public.
The post holder has responsibility for the operational management of adult learning disability in-patient services in Hertfordshire; Dove ward and Specialist Residential Services (SRS).
The post holder is responsible for the allocation, deployment, prioritisation and delivery of in-patient services,for implementing and reviewing systems, policies, standards and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust.
