Job summary
Paediatric
Emergency Department at WRH. It is a busy department which offers
extensive learning and development opportunities unique to an urgent care
setting. We see a wide range of patients who require fast effective
nursing care which encompasses many fields of expertise and specialities,
whilst maintaining a child friendly atmosphere, and ensuring the child is at
the centre of all we do. There are exciting times ahead as our paediatric
team increases, and due to move into a brand new department within the next few
months.
As Sister /
Charge Nurse of the Paediatric Department you will help lead and manage the
department so that high quality, evidence based nursing care is delivered to
patients and their carers.
You will be an
integral member of our team whom who maintain our on-going achievement of the
emergency access standards.
You must be
committed to providing high quality nursing care; you will provide strong
leadership and mentorship to junior staff and help support the senior team.
You will be a
highly visible leader and be experienced as a professional role model. In
working in a progressively changing environment you will promote the Trusts
values and be committed to high standards of service delivery.
There is a dedicated
Professional Development Team that supports to develop your skills not only as
a clinical expert but as a leader and manager.
