Community Midwife - Avoncroft Team
Are you an enthusiastic motivated midwife who has a passion for working with women and families in the community?
Then please join one of our well-established community midwifery teams within Worcestershire. An opportunity has arisen within the Avoncroft Community Midwives Team, based at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove. Applications from B5s are welcome and will be supported with a specific preceptorship package.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to work independently yet be part of an integrated team who provide women and families with excellent evidence-based care. We are committed to the national maternity agenda and have an impressive home birth record.
Working as a community midwife provides unique access to the dynamics of family life within the local community and true multiagency working. You will gain a range of transferable skills including time management, team working and family centred care.
