An exciting opportunity has arisen for a maternity support worker to join our antenatal clinic teams in Redditch working 30 hours on a 12 months fixed term to cover maternity leave.
We are looking to recruit friendly, professional and motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team and who are willing to play a key role in our maternity workforce providing high quality care.
Successful candidates for the Maternity positions will be expected to work within the antenatal clinic and day assessment unit setting, and may also be required to travel to other sites countywide to support our antenatal clinic services.

Main duties of the job
Demonstrate understanding of the importance of working in partnership with women/ birthing people and their families. Develops and maintains positive relationships, supports informed decision makers and respects the people and their families wishes.
Understand the MSWs scope of practice and the importance of the role within national framework to enable working within limits of own competence and authority, escalating to the MDT to inform care planning in line with national and local guidance to avoid harm.
The position will also require some cross site working, covering a clinic in Bromsgrove.
