The closing date is 01 May 2026

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Orthodontic Technician to join our Maxillofacial and Dental Laboratory team. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively to support our orthodontic clinicians in the provision of high-quality, complex orthodontic appliances.

Our department has a digital infrastructure in place, providing a strong foundation for innovation and service development. We are seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic about digital technologies and, ideally, brings relevant experience to take ownership of this area - leading on the implementation, optimisation, and integration of digital workflows into routine practice. Full support will be provided to enable the successful candidate to drive this forward and enhance our digital capabilities.

The role offers the rewarding experience of working closely with multiple outpatient teams and clinicians across the Trusts hospital sites. A flexible and adaptable approach to working is essential, as the successful candidate may be required to support service delivery at Kidderminster Hospital when needed.

The post holder should be innovative and highly motivated, with good communication skills to liaise with clinical and laboratory staff in the design and manufacture of appliances. They should also be capable of maintaining laboratory records complying with the latest Medical Devices Regulations. It is essential that the post holder is able to plan and prioritise their own work.
