Job summary

**This vacancy is currently only open to internal applicants from Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust**

This post holder will work within a busy Digital Information team which has a wide remit, including Data Intelligence and Analytics, Data Quality, Data Protection, Health Records Management and Performance.

This role will be within the Performance section, and the post holder will support the Senior Performance Manager in delivering key performance reporting for the Executive Board and other senior management.

Main duties of the job

To assist in the extraction, processing and reporting of aggregated patient data from the Trusts Patient Administration System and other Trust-wide clinical systems, using SQL server and Microsoft Excel.

To undertake the production of regular extracts and submissions to external agencies including (but not limited to) Integrated Care Systems, Regional NHSE, Clinical Quality Commission, Secondary User Submissions and Other Hospital Providers.

To respond to ad hoc requests for information as directed. To liaise with the member of staff making the request and show initiative as to the best way to provide the information requested. To utilise available technologies and software in order to provide useful presentation of information in an appropriate format.

To assist in the automation of all possible reports to reduce the potential for human error in the compilation of reports.

To assist in the production of externally required information in conjunction with other members of the Digital Information Team. This to include the production of specified statutory returns.

To develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of different data sources.

To respond positively to supporting ad hoc projects.

Assisting with other duties as required.
