Job summary
We are pleased to offer a part-time position, that could be considered as a secondment opportunity to work within Radiology as an Administration Manager. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to broaden their current skill set or take a first step into management.
The role is part time at 15 hours per week, forming part of a job share. It is primarily based at Worcester Royal Hospital, though some travel across sites may be required to support Radiology administration teams.
You will be joining a supportive and experienced team of three Administration Managers (1 WTE and 2 part time), all of whom are dedicated, collaborative, and friendly.
As Administration Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Radiology administration services. Working as part of a job share, you will contribute to the leadership and coordination of administrative teams, ensuring high quality, patient focused support across the department.
Main duties of the job
As Administration Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Radiology services.
Supporting the day to day management of Radiology administrative services
Providing leadership, guidance, and support to administrative staff
Helping to ensure efficient workflows, effective communication, and excellent patient experience
Contributing to service improvement initiatives and operational planning.
Working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues across sites
We are looking for someone who
Has strong organisational and communication skills
Enjoys working with people and supporting teams
Is proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
Has experience in administration (healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential)
Is keen to develop their leadership and management skills
This opportunity would suit someone ready to take on additional responsibility or explore a pathway into management.
