Senior Medical Secretary - Clinical/Medical Oncology
37.5 hours per week - 1-2 days home working offered as part of an existing rota
Based at the Worcestershire Oncology Centre within Worcestershire Royal Hospital
We are seeking a highly organised and compassionate medical secretary to join our existing team within the speciality of Medical/Clinical Oncology. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of oncology services, providing essential support to our medical professionals and patients.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to provide a comprehensive secretarial service for the Consultant Oncologists and multi-disciplinary team in accordance with Trust/departmental policies and procedures.
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to a clear understanding of patient confidentiality. You will need to be able to work both independently and as a member of this dynamic team to deliver a high quality, efficient service.Reliability, punctuality, integrity and the ability to work calmly under pressure are key qualities and excellent organisational skills are required.
You must possess a good working knowledge of IT packages and the ability to work across a mixed skill team. RSA II or equivalent together with audio typing experience are essential requirements for this role.
