Posts advertised as full-time will be contracted at 10
programmed activities. Any additional programmed activities agreed
with the appointed candidate above this level will be under separate agreement,
renewable on an annual basis, in accordance with the terms and conditions,
schedule 7. The Trust is committed

Main duties of the job
A suitably experienced post-holder will be
expected to
provide a service to patients of the

The post-holder will be expected to
provide a service to patients of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust,
General Practitioners and to attend multi-disciplinary meetings. The successful
candidate will be expected to work within multi-disciplinary teams in providing
high quality clinical care. It is anticipated work will be undertaken on three
sites and closer to the patients home.
The Trust is seeking to extend services to GP surgeries/health centres etc and
job plans may be revised in due course.
be responsible for the continuing care and treatment of
patients in their charge and personal performance of clinical duties as agreed
in your job plan, allowing for all proper delegation to and training of their
staff.
provide consultation and advisory service
to clinical colleagues in the Trust and Primary Care.
collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high quality, timely service and

A formal job plan will be agreed between the post-holder and

- At least 6 years experience in a relevant specialty at the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades. Equivalent years experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades including from overseas will also be accepted.
