STAFF NURSE - BAND 5
Permanent
Full Time 37.5 hrs per week
8.00 am to 8.00 pm over 5-day period to
include weekends.
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, forward thinking and
compassionate nurse to join existing our cardiology specialist nursing team in
our newly developed Worcestershire Heart Centre.
Worcestershire
Heart Centre is an innovative service that endeavours to deliver high quality
care to cardiac patients with a range of cardiology conditions. Referrals are
accepted from the ED, urgent care, GP surgeries and the ambulance service.
We require
enthusiastic individuals who can work flexibly within the team over a 5 days,
Monday to Friday 08:00 20:00

Main duties of the job
You must be a Registered General Nurse, experience in cardiology nursing is an advantage. Newly qualified nurses will be considered. You will pride yourself on delivering high standards of nursing care, be flexible and have the ability to work in a busy environment caring for cardiology patients.
In return you will receive development and training, and the support of a committed team of cardiologists and specialist nurses.

Essential
- Registered Nurse on sub part 1 or 2 of the professional register.
- The post would be most suited to candidates with existing post registration experience, preferably within Cardiology or Critical care or A&E. Applications from newly qualified nurses will be considered.
Desirable
- Diploma/ Degree.
- Teaching & assessing qualifications.
- Experience and competence in ECG interpretation.
- Awareness of Health & Safety.
