We're looking for dedicated Specialty Doctors to join our friendly and growing Emergency Department team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. You'll work across two of our sites: Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.

Main duties of the job
- Provide clinical services to patients at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and GPs, and attend multi-disciplinary meetings to provide high quality clinical care.
- Support the Emergency department and acute medicine to make sure patients receive timely care and flow through the hospital efficiently.
- Offer consultation and advice to clinical colleagues across the Trust and Primary Care.
- Attend cross-county and cross-site meetings to collaborate with other teams and contribute to high-quality service delivery.
- Work alongside colleagues to help achieve the Trusts goals and meet the departments objectives.
- Join the middle-grade rota to provide emergency and urgent care outside normal working hours. To ensure duties are shared equally.
- Be ready to attend the hospital when needed for patient reviews during non-resident on-call shifts.
- Provide care for minor injuries and emergencies, as well as general ED clinical work.
- Support the Consultant team with daily patient reviews in the Clinical Decision Unit and ED review clinics.
- Help with teaching VTS trainees, FY2s, and middle-grade doctors. You'll also participate in training programs for Regional SAS Grade and Specialist Registrars.
- Collaborate with the clinical governance lead to help develop the ED service and ensure we meet national targets.
