We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed midwife to support the role out and development of the education programme which will underpin our Enhanced Maternal Care Services and support the midwifery-led NIPE programme, in addition to helping further develop the maternity training programme already in place.
The post holder will be required to implement, teach and support as required, practice development initiatives, facilitating midwifery staff to develop safe, effective and person-centred clinical practice.

Main duties of the job
You will be working alongside our existing Practice Development Midwife in an exciting role combining excellent clinical, teaching and facilitating skills with organisational abilities. Together you will take the lead initiative in devising, implementing and delivering yearly update and refresher training for all our NIPE trained midwives as well as coordinating additional members of the midwifery team gaining this qualification.
You will be developing the provision of effective individualised, women-centred, evidence-based midwifery care within the maternity enhanced care setting which is an exciting development for Worcester Royal Maternity Services.
Duties will include contributing to the development and delivery of Midwifery Mandatory Training. The post holder will arrange dates, rooms and speakers for these days within the Trust.
