Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has a busy and vibrant endoscopy department and currently provides endoscopy services to the population of Worcestershire at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, the Alexandra Hospital, Kidderminster Treatment Centre, Malvern Community Hospital and Evesham Community Hospital. There are 11 endoscopy rooms across the sites. In addition to diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy, we currently provide bronchoscopy and EBUS, cystoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. The Bowel Cancer Screening Programme is fully established within the Trust. There are plans to expand the provision of endoscopy services at the Alexandra Hospital and Kidderminster Treatment Centre.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic highly motivated Health Care Professional to commence Clinical Endoscopist training in August 2023, you will be joining a well- established clinical endoscopist team.
You must be able to work effectively as part of a team have excellent communication skills and have a willingness to learn. Previous experience of working in an endoscopy unit would be desirable.
On completion of training you will have 5 independent clinical endoscopy sessions per week.
The Trust forms part of the West Midlands Endoscopy Training Academy, delivering high-quality JAG-accredited skills courses and immersive training. An enthusiasm and willingness to support the Academy and its training once you are working independently will be required.

interventions as per Trust Training programmes.

as necessary to medical specialists, as required for the treatment of each
patient.
