Specialist Oncology Dietitian (Head and Neck)

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to cover a head and neck oncology caseload at part time with 19.75 hours per week.

We are a department of 26 dietitians working across our two general hospital sites. Our experienced team contributes to national dietetic specialist groups, publishes articles and presents at the BDA research symposium/ clinical conferences.

We actively encourage audit and service development, and offer supervision programmes, CPD, and regular team meetings. You will be involved in student training as we offer University of Worcester A, B, C student placements.

Main duties of the job

To plan and deliver a high-quality service to oncology patients working in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team. To assist with student training and their supervision and contribute to the Therapy Clinical Governance agenda to further improve the quality of the dietetic service. To assist with the day-to-day planning co-ordination, monitoring, evaluation and delivery of the dietetic service to oncology patients.
