Job summary

Are you looking for a career opportunity where you can make a real difference? This is an exciting time to join the Emergency Department Team in Worcester as we are currently planning for our move to a new purpose built building.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team, supporting the clinical team with delivering a high standard of care for any patient that attends the department.

The successful applicant should be prepared to work either 0700 - 1930 and 1900 - 0730 shifts. Hours are given on a rota basis up to 3 months in advance.

Main duties of the job

To assist with the maintenance of patient hygiene.
Assist with feeding patients.
Assist with patients' elimination needs
Additional aspects of care
Excellent empathy and communication is required
Maintenance and cleaning of department equipment and surroundings
