Job summary

We are looking to recruit a compassionate individual to work within our committed outpatient's team .

You will be a reliable team player, have excellent communication skills, a kind and caring manner and be willing to work flexibly between Monday and Friday

You will need to be motivated, hardworking, kind and able to communicate with a wide range of people.

Main duties of the job

To ensure that patients are treated with dignity and respect, to ensure that high quality of care is given.

To advise patients and carers on health care issues and support them in times of stressful and emotional events which are frequently emotionally demanding to the nurse and demanding on their time.

Performing clinical skills relevant to individual clinics e.g. clinical observations, urinalysis, venepuncture.

Decontamination and tracking of equipment after use.

Assisting the Consultant and other Healthcare professionals within the clinical setting independently.

To support and assist in audits / monitoring / collecting data / transferring data to other sources; in collaboration with the department manager & Matron.
