We have an exciting new opportunity for an HR apprentice administrator to join our busy HR Advisory Team, based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. The HR Advisory Team is based at Worcester Royal Hospital and the role will include a combination of office and home-based working.

Main duties of the job

Apprenticeship Details:

Apprenticeship - Business Administrator, Level 3 (Advanced) Business administrator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

Training provider will be Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association. Please note: by applying for this opportunity you are consenting for us to share your application details with our Training Provider for recruitment and eligibility purposes.

The Apprenticeship will be on a fixed term contract with opportunity to apply for roles within the NHS on completion.

Salary will be paid at Apprenticeship Wage currently £5.28/£10,296

You will work 37.5 hours per week with on the job and off the job learning opportunities and receive 6 hours paid study time (1 day a week).

27 days leave plus Bank Holidays.

Eligibility:

English AND Maths Level 2 is essential - GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2

Do NOT have a degree level qualification or higher in Business Administration or similar related subject

Have NOT completed an NVQ/QCF/Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 or higher in Business Administration or have considerable experience in an admin role.

Candidates who have previously started or part completed a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship, must declare this on their application form.

The principal role is to provide administration & clerical support to the HR Advisory and Business Partnering team.

Duties include:

1. To provide administrative support to team members to support in the delivery of HR functions and services. To include typing of minutes, transcripts and preparing meeting agendas.

2. To answer the telephone and deal with queries/requests, taking detailed messages for team members.

3. To monitor the team email address and forward relevant emails to the appropriate person if necessary

4. To open, stamp and sort incoming/outgoing mail for the HR Team as required, scanning and sending to people if necessary.

5. To input data on to appropriate databases, producing reports and spreadsheets.

6.To assist in arranging meetings, including associated arrangements and booking rooms.

7. To undertake photocopying and scanning for team members.

8. To assist in the maintenance of departmental records including archiving and scanning.
