Specialist Oncology Dietitian

Job summary
We are looking for someone who has sound clinical skills in oral and enteral nutrition support, with excellent communication and team-working skills to cover both Upper GI and Head and Neck Oncology services at WAHT.
All the dietitians are involved in training student dietitians on B & C placements & delivering training on nutrition topics to medical and nursing staff.
We are committed to your personal development and CPD and will support attendance on relevant clinical study days to enhance your practice.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose:
To work as an experienced autonomous practitioner providing a high standard of patient-focused care through specialised assessment.
To plan and deliver a high quality service to patients working in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
To assist with student training and their supervision and contribute to the Therapy Clinical Governance agenda to further improve the quality of the dietetic service.
To assist with the day to day planning co-ordination, monitoring, evaluation and delivery of the dietetic service.
