Job summary
An exciting
opportunity has arisen within the Hereford and Worcestershire Bowel Screening Centre. We are
looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated nurse Endoscopist to join our
expanding screening team which is based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital,
Worcester. You will be expected to work across several sites to include,
Hereford County Hospital, Kidderminster Hospital, Alexandra Hospital Redditch,
Malvern Community Hospital and Ross Community Hospital.
We are
looking for a hardworking, flexible and committed individual to join our team,
providing high quality care to all screening participants. You must be able to work
effectively as part of a team. The role requires you to communicate and
work closely with the wider MDT across a number of hospital trusts. You must
have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate sensitive and
complex information to both patients and colleagues, including breaking
significant news.
Previous
experience of working within the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and completion of Bowel Cancer Screening accreditation is desirable. If not already completed, this training will be offered and the candidate
must start this course once in post.

The screening Colonoscopist will undertake regular
Bowel Cancer Screening sessions for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Bowel

Malvern Community Hospital, Hereford Hospital and occasional lists at
Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
