We are excited to be able to announce that we are advertising a part time post for an Employment & Education Advisor within the ESTEP Service.
The South East Essex Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) team (ESTEP) are currently looking for an employment and education advisor.
The South East ESTEP team are based in Rochford and cover the Southend, Castle Point and Rochford areas. The team are made up of a range of professional's including, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists, Employment Specialists, Physical Health Lead and a Consultant Psychiatrist.
The team are very supportive of each other (and new staff) and are now looking for a motivated, adaptable and forward thinking band 4 employment and education advisor to complement the existing skills and professions already in the team
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work directly with mainstream educational providers and employers to secure education/employment opportunities for service users whilst providing on-going support. They will meet regularly with MDT Colleagues to co-ordinate and integrate vocational services into the recovery plan. The postholder will also prepare individuals for employment through assessing each person's individual educational/ employment needs through vocational profiling.
