Job summary

The post-holder will act as a first-point-of-contact, as well as SME, for reporting and data within the realm of specialist mental health services in the organisation.

This role requires a good balance of people skills, technical knowledge, and institutional expertise in order to support the wider department in delivering upon its reporting requirements.

As a fixed-term cover for an existing employee on secondment, it is crucial that the post-holder can hit the ground running and pick up the day-to-day running of the team quickly and comprehensively.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be responsible for managing the scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requirements of the organisation's Specialist Mental Health services, including (but not limited to) our secure inpatient services, health and justice services, NHS Talking Therapies services, and our Specialist Treatment and Recovery Service.

The role will include the planning, management, and delivery of contractual reporting, representation of the department, directorate, and organisation at relevant meetings, leadership of five staff currently in post in the specialist mental health reporting team, and management of any relevant projects or ad-hoc requests for information and analysis.
