An exciting opportunity to working in primary care mental health within the GP Surgeries, providing assessments and short term interventions to patients with low to moderate mental health difficulties.

To support GP colleagues with mental health projects with different cohorts of patients who present with mental health support needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be able to demonstrate the following:
If RMN - Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification or willing to undertake the training
Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
Experience of working within a Mental Health setting
Ability to work under pressure and ability to contain and manage the stress of others and oneself
Robust clinical judgement
Ability to work autonomously and take an appropriate level of responsibility
Develop innovative practice to deal creatively with service demands for referrals, allocations, monitoring of KPI's and clinical caseload management
To hold a UK driving licence, essential to drive to Primary care network bases and trust sites.

Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for the clinical care support and treatment of patients with a mental health presentation within the Epping Forest North Primary Care Network (PCN). You will contribute to the development of new ways of working as a key member of the primary care network. This post will involve working with other agencies to support the development of resilient communities and the management of good mental health in line with West Essex Health and Care Partnership objectives and domains and the NHSE Long term plan.
This post holder will be integral to the delivery of a pro-active integrated needs led care and interventions approach within the PCN.
Working collaboratively with all members of the PCN team to deliver holistic and recovery focused intervention to the residents of Epping Forest North PCN.
The post holder will facilitate the management of flow and capacity at a primary care level and the interface with secondary care mental health and the voluntary sector.
The post holder will work with the wider health and social care economy including non-statutory and statutory organisations in the creation of integrated care plans to support people in their communities.
Developing and supporting The lived experience agenda with Patient and Carer engagement and involvement in service transformation and delivery is an integral requirement of this post.
This post requires the delivery of direct patient assessment care and management functions in collaboration with the wider PCN team.
