Psychological Therapist / MBT Therapist

Job summary

We are excited to be offering an opportunity for a psychological therapist/MBT therapist to join us on a part time basis. The post is for 22.5 hours per week (0.6 WTE) and it's based at the C&E Centre, Chelmsford. However, the successful candidate will be required to spend one day a week at the Gables, Braintree. If you are a clinical/counselling psychologist or psychotherapist without MBT accreditation and with a specialist interest in this field, we can offer MBT training through the NHS scheme, as long as you already posses a registration as a qualified generic clinician.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this post are the psychological assessment of clients with complex and severe presentations and the delivery of MBT groups and one to one sessions, as part of a comprehensive MBT programme for adults. The successful candidate will work with other MBT therapists in the service.This is an exciting opportunity to work within supportive MDTs and highly experienced clinical/counselling psychologists and psychotherapists.
