This is a substantive role for an RCN, who will be employed to work in a rapidly developing speciality of an Integrated Sexual Health Service in Essex, delivering contraception and sexual health to patients.
The post holder will be based in Basildon clinic but also to our satellite clinics in Rayleigh and Canvey Island.

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is looking for an Integrated Sexual Health Nurse Specialist, to work as part of our Integrated Sexual Health Service across South Essex. This post provides the opportunity for development and enhancement of clinical expertise and innovative practice within the field of integrated sexual health care. The post holder will be working within a specialist clinical team in a positive learning environment which will enable the development of skills to provide a high standard of integrated sexual health care.

Some of the responsibilities is working within the team to offer evidence based sexual health service. Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with service users and all health care staff.
Maintain confidentiality of service user information at all times.
Work within the guidelines set down by law and the Nursing and Midwifery Council and other bodies of authority.
Be fully aware of integrated sexual health services and organisation safeguarding procedures.
