Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Clinical Lead (SCL) with qualification as a Mental Health Nurse to join our partner services on a secondment basis. This role is for 12 months with potential extension to 18 months.
This role is part of a collaborative initiative between Essex University Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), RAMA (Refugee and Migrant Action), and Colchester City Council. The primary focus is to support asylum seekers and newly granted refugees residing in Colchester by providing integrated and holistic mental health care.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community. The SCL will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health assessment, addressing barriers to care, and working across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.
Main duties of the job
The primary focus is to support asylum seekers and newly granted refugees residing in Colchester by providing integrated and holistic mental health care. It will involved providing:
