Team Leader for Mid Essex (Chelmsford, Witham, Maldon & SWF)
The team leader will be responsible for the operational day to day management of the immunisation services for a specified geographical area. Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership to the Immunisation.
- Oversee staff off duty for immunisations.
- Assist in improving quality of clinical standards and service delivery through audit and supervision.
- Assist the clinical delivery manager and professional lead in developing innovative ways of working that are responsive to the needs of the population.
Main duties of the job
EPUT 'Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust' is recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Team leader for the MID immunisation team, working within our Essex wide immunisation service. The team leader will drive the delivery of the service primarily through a school based model, offering all school aged vaccinations including the intranasal flu vaccination. The team leader will inspire others to deliver our high standards of service.
The immunisation service in EPUT is recognised nationally for its innovative and creative service modelling. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality flexible services and are looking for a team leader who is like-minded to join our teams.
You will be an RN/RMN/RSCN with an interest in children, have a good working knowledge of the child health immunisation service and ideally previous leadership experience.
37.5hrs all year round.

- Assist the Clinical Delivery manager to provide clinical support and facilitate development of immunisations in Mid Essex.
- Assist the Clinical Delivery manager and Professional lead to monitor standards and competencies within the teams and to participate in the design, implementation, and arrangement of individual or team training to improve standards and competencies as necessary.

- Contribute to and support clinical and information governance audit including the implementation of recommendations.
