Community Senior Healthcare Assistant Band 4

Are you a team player with proven planning and organisational skills?

Then join our dynamic and forward thinking integrated nursing team and make an important contribution to the delivery of high standards of care to patients, their families and carers within the South East Essex locality of Canvey Island and Benfleet.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide clinical support in order to prevent patients having unnecessary hospital admissions, enabling them to stay at home where possible and work with wider integrated community teams to facilitate and support patients in their own home.

You will work within a dynamic team lead by a District Nurse. Canvey District Nursing Team have won an award for their innovative care to patients in the community and strive to continue providing the best quality of care.

Applications are welcomed from HCA's with a minimum of 1 years community/hospital experience or who hold an Associate Practitioner qualification.

Various shifts 8am-9pm Mon-Sun

Excellent opportunities to progress in nursing career from Nursing Associate or Associate Practitioner courses which lead onto the Nursing Degree.
