Job summary

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Nurse to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit Stroke and Neuro Rehab team. This role allows the successful candidate to work collaboratively with the MDT and deliver high standards of stroke and neurological care to our patients.

We welcome applications from individuals with stroke and neurology nursing experience who feel they can meet the demands and needs of this specialist area.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have experience of working in a stroke and neuro hospital setting ideally within a stroke unit or other neurological setting. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience. The Stroke and Neuro rehab team cares for a variety of patients with complex conditions and needs post stroke or an episode of a neurological event and require specialist skills and knowledge to aid and maximise their recovery.
