Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Dementia and Frailty Service (SDFS) in West Essex as the Clinical Team Leader. The West Essex area is a culturally diverse locality covering the beautiful Essex locality, the area covers both urban and rural geography.

Please note that being a car driver with a valid UK driving licence is essential for this post.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for and provide effective leadership for the SDFS Multi-Disciplinary Team providing a high quality service.

You will deliver on the key areas, co-ordinate and lead team functioning with particular focus on:

Management of referrals, allocations and monitoring the delivery of high quality care

KPI performance monitoring and management

Line management and supervision of clinical staff

As the post holder you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience and enthusiasm in working closely and developing relationships with senior medical, nursing and social care and other allied health care staff as well as voluntary sector colleagues.

Experience of managing and supervising staff.

Ability to empathise with clients, carers and families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved.

Ability to work under pressure and ability to contain and manage the stress of others and oneself.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills through working alongside our well established MDT and accessing specialist training.
