An exciting opportunity has now arisen and we are in the position to recruit a Housekeeper to work within our adult ward, on Kelvedon Ward at Basildon Mental Health Unit.
A commitment to our patients, taking into account the needs of families and carer's, whilst working under the direction of senior staff and be prepared to become part of established multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
Support clinical staff by addressing the non-clinical needs of the patients in achieving an excellent level of customer service, by ensuring that the patient environment is welcoming, clean, comfortable, and safe.
We are looking for people who can bring commitment, fresh ideas, and determination to take forward our service in new and innovative ways. In return we offer Training and development of staff, support through regular Supervision and Appraisal, assisting you in setting realistic objectives.

Bring to the attention of nursing staff any shortfalls in cleanliness of ward equipment.
