This position is full time hours

This is based at home but if required to work at base this would be Thurrock Community Hospital.

Responsible for the set up and maintenance of Electronic Staff Record (ESR) assignment records in accordance with national and local terms and conditions of service.

  • Responsible for the input of all transactional changes and terminations in accordance with national and local terms and conditions of service.

  • Be a first point of contact for EPUT employees & staff on ESR queries.

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for the day to day set up and staff changes in ESR of assignment records in accordance with Agenda for Change terms & conditions, local arrangements and Trust policies, as appropriate.

  • Ensure that all work processed in ESR is completed in accordance with agreed procedures / practices and suggest system changes that will result in improvements to the quality and integrity of data held in ESR.

  • Initiate Inter Authority Transfers (IAT) requests in respect of all new employees and ensure that data received is correctly used to update assignment records

  • Provide ESR training for new staff in workforce services and support any training events organised by the workforce service.
    • Support periodic ESR audits and data validation exercises of information recorded in the ESR involving the despatch of validation information to Trust staff and updating ESR records accordingly.

    The post holder will need to liaise clearly and precisely at all levels, internally and externally, but will have primary responsibility for communicating with managers and employees regarding the maintenance of ESR records
