Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for the management of a clinical area, providing leadership, supporting staff and working collaboratively with Consultants, Psychiatrists, other grades of Doctors, Allied Health Professionals and Social Work Practitioners to provide and deliver a high quality and safe care. The post holder will demonstrate clinical thinking in the clinical decision making process, including joint working with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to meet the needs of the patients, and carers to ensure that they are working to EPUT Clinical Policies and Procedures/Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Practice and Standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will co-ordinate and lead team functioning with particular focus on:
- Management of referrals including delivery of care
- Performance monitoring and management
- Line management and supervision of staff
The post holder will contribute to facilitating the transformation of community mental health services in line with South Essex Mental Health Strategy.
