Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an System Manager to act as a team leader for clinics and all associated work on EMIS Systems.
The Trust will be implementing the EMIS solution for ePMA and we are seeking an experienced System Manager to join the project implementation team. You will work closely with the Project Manager and ePMA Pharmacist. You will work with key stakeholders across the organisation including clinical teams and colleagues within the health systems team, to ensure that ePMA is able to meet the needs of clinicians and that the benefits to patients are realised.
You will have responsibility for ensuring configuration is completed correctly allowing patient activity to be fully recorded, working closely with the Data Quality Team Leader to ensure income generation, data quality and Information Governance requirements are met. Previous experience with ePMA systems is desirable but not essential, but you should be able to demonstrate excellent IM&T skills.
Main duties of the job
You will manage the EMIS Ascribe system within the Trust to maintain service delivery and continual improvement to ensure that the system is fit for purpose.
You will manage the development of the EMIS Ascribe system software working with NHS Digital, system suppliers and Trust IT staff as required by the Trust Corporate and Clinical Directorates.
You will provide specialist advice on EMIS Ascribe specifications, requirements, functionality, implementation, and roll out across the organisation.
You will liaise with Pharmacy / Clinicians / Clinical Service Leads and Operational Service Managers for Advice and Guidance, creating services, training clinicians and sign off in readiness for publication. Working closely with EMIS Ascribe system suppliers, reporting issues and ensuring resolutions are actioned; escalating issues to the Head of Projects and Head of Pharmacy.
