Job summary
We are seeking a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join the Community Recovery Team North in Newham. This is a rare opportunity to work in an integrated community and inpatient service. The Community Recovery Team serves adults with serious mental illness residing in the North of the borough. It is a well-established service which seamless and integrated mental health care between inpatients and the community.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will have overall clinical responsibility for service users on their caseload in their CRT sub-team and sector inpatients. They will lead on the delivery of high quality care in all settings; ensure policies and procedures are followed; develop close working links with GP colleagues in order to provide integrated holistic care; and develop close working links with the acute locality treatment wards ensuring the right care is provided in the right setting.
