Job summary

An exciting opportunity has opened in the Corporate Performance and Planning Team for a Performance and Planning Coordinator. The post holder will support the Trustwide and Planning and Performance Manager and the Associate Director of Performance in the strategy execution, planning and performance management functions, dealing with a range of complex directorates from Primary Care, CAMHS, SCYPS, Mental Health, Community Health, Forensic and corporate departments.

This is a key role developing, implementing and overseeing performance management across the Trust, working with the Trustwide Planning and Performance Manager and Associate Director of Performance and Planning. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development, coordination and oversight of the performance systems across the Trust and providing assurance to the Trust and its NHS and Local Authority commissioners.

Main duties of the job

  • Overseeing day-to-day administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery, supporting all performance and planning-related activities within the departmentoAssist in workload management, helping to allocate tasks, monitor team priorities and update the team tracker during daily/weekly team huddlesoCoordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met, and take the lead on discrete tasks/projects as directed by the Band 8a ManageroOrganise and minute key meetings, ensuring actions are documented and followed up.oCollect, analyse, and present data to aid decision-making and prepare reports for senior leadership as required.o Engage with stakeholders, coordinating meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions as needed.oDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including consultant, directors, psychiatrists, nurses, pharmacists, senior managers, and any other internal and external stakeholdersoIdentifying key challenges and risks to collection performance and leading on problem-solving and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, maintaining accurate records for governance and audit purposes
  • Support strategic initiatives by conducting audits, research, benchmarking, and assisting with implementation plans.oTake a lead on identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and service improvement
