Job summary

We are looking to hire an operational Teams Administrator to join our Forensics unit. The primary responsibility will be to provide operational support across all forensic sites, ensuring the smooth and effective running of our services.

The post holder will be required to work closely with the Operational Services Team Lead to provide an effective and responsive service.

The post requires the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment, liaising effectively with professionals from a range of disciplines, using your own initiative whilst maintaining client confidentiality.

The role involves limited lifting of postal items/equipment and travel across sites on a daily basis and the candidate will be expected to work on site.

This role is not open to working from home and the postholder will work alongside colleagues across several locations.

Main duties of the job

To ensure there is an adequate supply of all forms and adequate stationery supplies, information leaflets available for the service.16. To order clinical supplies to the sites, ensuring stock levels are controlled and ordered.17. To coordinate the daily clinical drop-in sessions for the site, updating stock levels.18. To undertake general office duties including: photocopying, collating and binding of documents, and laminating.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  1. 1. Provide administrative support to the Forensic service for presentations including setting up of equipment in meeting rooms.
  2. 2. To develop and maintain information-gathering systems for the team and as required, prepare reports and audits from the data gathered
  3. 3. As a support services team member to work flexibly in order that essential priority tasks are covered and dealt with, including rotas for designated roles.
  4. 4. To ensure regular maintenance of non-clinical equipment within the team, ensuring that equipment is reported for repair as necessary and that the office is kept clean and tidy at all times.

  • RSA III or equivalent NHS experience
  • English and Arithmetic GCSE Grade C

Desirable

  • Oracle/procurement and postal services
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent Desirable

  • Proven Admin experience at Band 4 level or equivalent
