Job summary

The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team and contribute to the smooth functioning of the systems underpinning the wards, community and inpatient referrals, and medical records.

The role requires some knowledge and experience of RiO, Reporting services & PowerBi and how they relate to the teams' Key Performance Targets.

You will undertake administrative duties to ensure the registration, admission, transfer and discharge of service users and ensure that electronic patient records are updated.

You will also process referrals for admission and referrals into the community teams within Trust timescales.

The post holder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be able to work without direct supervision and to exercise initiative. The ability to multi-task is also essential.

Main duties of the job

Our clinical teams rely on efficient administration systems and processes. This includes accurate data collection and accurate data reporting and analysis.

To assist with ensuring that all correspondence and key clinical information written or received in relation to Service Users is scanned on a regular basis and uploaded to RIO using the appropriate codes. Record via the entering of data onto RIO or other Trust electronic system on a daily basis ensuring relevant timescales are met, so as to ensure that information can be retrieved whenever necessary and to meet agreed trust targets and objectives.

Undertake the necessary clerical and administrative duties to ensure the registration, admission, transfer and discharge of service users and ensure that electronic patient records are updated in accordance with Trust timescales and guidelines.

Processing referrals for admission and referrals into the community teams within Trust timescales.

The post holder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be able to work without direct supervision and to exercise initiative. The ability to multi-task is also essential.
