Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Newham Directorate for a Full time band 4 ward administrator. This is a permanent post and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who is looking for a new role in a busy and challenging environment on a Mental Health Acute ward. As an administrator you will be based on a busy ward offering support to the Multi Disciplinary Team and are often the first point of contact.

Main duties of the job

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team

Reliable, flexible & adaptable

Ability to use initiative

Familiar with the reporting service and KPI reports

Chase any outstanding CQUINS and update accordingly

Ensure that 72 hour follow-up appointments have been booked

Excellent IT knowledge and a comprehensive knowledge of office systems including Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

Ensure RIO is synchronised & updated

Paperwork is scanned and uploaded

Ordering of suppliers on both Oracle and Clares

Assist/cover other ward admin where required

Inpatient experience preferred
