Job summary
P2R Community substance misuse service in Bedford has a permanent role for a keyworker to:
Delivering substance misuse interventions in one-to-one and group settings to service users, assessing and managing their care and risk.
Working in one of the following teams within P2R:
- Assessment Team
- Recovery Team
- Short Treatment Team
- Friends and Families Team
- Safeguarding Team
- Homeless Team
Main duties of the job
- Manage a caseload of service users, ensuring effective care planning and risk assessment (This includes short and long term work and will be scaled down based on complexity)
- Deliver one-to-one and group interventions for substance misuse in line with agreed job plan
- Assess service users, identifying strengths and recovery capital and deliver interventions which support and empower the service user to make changes to their substance use
