TEAM ADMINISTRATOR
Fixed term 6 months
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Band 4 team administrator/secretary to support the admin secretarial provision to the City and Hackney Neighbourhood service for a fixed term of 6 months.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who can demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, with a passion to be working within the adult mental health setting and who can provide a second to none service.
The post holder will report to the lead administrator and work closely with the clinical operational Team Lead, head of administration, and service performance manager.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to ensure the smooth delivery of our service/s. This is a very busy department with many elements and is ideally suited to a responsive and resilient team player who seeks continuous improvement in the service. You will have proven experience working as an administrator in an NHS setting, excellent communication skills, excellent time management, strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Please note this role will require you to work on-site. There may be an opportunity in the future to WFH 1 day a week.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include: formatting and checking clinical correspondence, reports, letters to GPs, legal professionals, service users and other agencies; to organise all clinic appointments on RiO and liaise with care coordinators over home visits on behalf of consultants and junior doctors; to arrange any necessary transport and/or interpreters, and book clinic rooms for any clinic/community appointments when required; and to be responsible for liaising/communicating with patients, legal professionals, other clinicians and members of the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
